Disable wireless on Brother printers with no display

Many Brother printers include wired and wireless network adapters. The wireless adapter should be disabled to prevent interference with the district wireless network.

Brother printers will broadcast a wireless network with an SSID of SETUP.

On brother printers without a display such as the HL-2170w and HL-2270w, you can disable wireless by holding the Go button for approximately 10 seconds. Release the button once a page begins to print. That page will note that the wireless adapter is now inactive.
