Disable wireless on Brother printers with display

Many Brother printers include wired and wireless network adapters. The wireless adapter should be disabled to prevent interference with the district wireless network.

Brother printers will broadcast a wireless network with an SSID of SETUP.

The steps for a printer with a display may vary, but the normal steps include:
Tapping the Wifi icon on the home screen, or tapping the configuration button

Tapping the Network menu

Running the network wizard and changing the Wireless option to Disable

Some printers may also offer Wifi Direct printing. This should be disabled as well if the option is available.
