Connecting your personal device to SRVUSD-BYOD Wireless Network
To maintain the highest level of network security, personal devices* used within the District should only connect to the SRVUSD-BYOD wireless network. Use the below links for settings and instructions on how to connect your personal device(s) to the SRVUSD-BYOD Network.

*Note: If you are having issues with connecting, please try Forget this Network for SRVUSD-BYOD and try again
**Note: Newer Android devices, such as the Google Pixel has specific instructions to connect to BYOD as shown below.
Connect to SRVUSD-BYOD for Google Pixel phones

Download the SRVUSD certificate on your Pixel phone.
- Once downloaded, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Internet
- Select the SRVUSD-BYOD from the list of wireless networks

Certificate Installation - If you have already installed the certificate, please select that certificate and skip to Step 5
- From the CA certificate dropdown, select Install certificates.
- Select the SRVUSD certificate file named SRVUSD-RootCA.cer that was downloaded in Step 1
- On the Name this certifcate popup window, name the certificate SRVUSD WiFi Cert
- The newly added certicate will populate the CA certifcate field
- Leave Online Certificate Status as "Do not verify"
- Enter the following information:
- Domain: srvusd.k12.ca.us
- Identity: username or username@srvusd.net
- Leave anonymous identity blank
- Password: enter your district password
Additionally, those hoping to connect to Wi-Fi to make phone calls should be aware that the SRVUSD does not support Wi-Fi calling. Applications such as Microsoft Teams or Google Voice (Google Voice works with personal accounts only) will still operate over Wi-Fi.
