On a Mac device go to Managed Software Center

Installation of Approved Extensions or add-ons in Chrome Browser
- Staff should be able to add extensions or add-ons to the chrome browser without special permissions. That said, however, some browser extensions or add-ons may be blocked to protect District staff and their data due to concerning privacy policies or terms. If you are trying to install an extension or add an add-on and its says its blocked, please submit and IT ticket at https://ithelp.srvusd.net for review and a member of the team will determine if the extension or add on can be allowed.
Installation of Approved Software on Student Chromebooks and iPads

On a student 1:1 chromebook: Applications and extensions are allowed or not allowed by District administration. Allows extension and applications available for installation by students can be found in the chrome web store. If there is any app or extension you require for school by a teacher and it cannot be found in the student Chrome web store, please reach out to your teacher first, then if still needed, submit an IT ticket at https://studentithelp.srvusd.net

On a student 1:1 iPad: Applications and settings are managed at the District level for student issued ipads. Some apps for download that are pre-approved can be found in the Meraki SM application, Apps Menu. If a student requires an application that is not already installed or available for download, please reach out to the teacher first, then if still needed submit an IT ticket at https://studentithelp.srvusd.net.

Specialty Devices and those required by IEP: Students with the same as mentioned above or different specialty devices requiring modifications or accommodations per the student's IEP should reach out to the student's case manager or the Special Programs Manager for assistance in requesting modifications to their student's device applications or settings.
