Software Approval Process
For Student and Family Requests for Software Approval
The District Software approval process is essential to ensure that any software used not only supports District initiatives such as Deep Learning and Innovation but are also protects users and District data. Not all programs requested for approval will be approved. The current approval process is in place for District staff to request sofware be added for use by staff and/or students. Students or Families needing to request access to software not already approved for use and accessible on student devices, should reach out to their teacher(s) for support first. Teachers and staff, should it be necessary can request an application or software be reviewed for approval following the below process.

For Staff Requests for Software Approval
- Please check the Approved Software List website first to see if the software is approved. Be aware that if the software is not on the list it is either not approved yet or is not approved for use at SRVUSD.
- If the software you're requesting approval for is not listed then please click and open this link to the District Site.
- Click Intranet in the top right hand corner
- Next click and open the link - SRVUSD Innovation and Transformation Support page
- Click on New Request Software or Digital Learning Tools Request Form
